The Barbados Light & Power Co. Ltd. has developed this calculator to approximate your monthly bill by allowing you to enter a value in the Total Estimated Usage (kWh). Click on the Calculate button and your estimated Total Estimated Bill will be calculated. To calculate your bill based on the appliances you have click here.

Read instructions carefully before using the Calculator

  1. Select the appropriate tariff (Domestic Service (default) for residential or General Service for other).
  2. When the Total Estimated Cost is calculated with this Calculator it will include a fixed charge that applies to the specific tariff chosen. If, however, you would like to use the calculator for comparing usages for different appliances you should select Exclude Fixed Charge
  3. The Fuel Clause Adjustment will default to the value for the current month. However, if you prefer, you can enter a different value.
  4. Input the Energy Usage (kWh), press the Calculate button and the Total Estimated Cost will be calculated.
