 Total (with Discount): Sum of lines 5,6 and 11 minus Line 10. i.e. (Line 5 + Line 6 + Line 11 - Line 10).. Discount Date: This applies to Rate 1 customers and is 15 days from date of issue of bill. Sum of lines 5,6 and 7.  Total (with Discount): Sum of lines 5,6 and 11 minus Line 10. i.e. (Line 5 + Line 6 + Line 11 - Line 10).. VAT (15%): This is 15% of the current bill less discount i.e. 15% of (Line 5 - Line 10). Discount: This is 10% of the fixed and energy charge. This is applicable to Rate 1 customers who pay their bill by discount date. Discount Date: This applies to Rate 1 customers and is 15 days from date of issue of bill. Sum of lines 5,6 and 7. VAT (15%): This is 15% of the current bill. Arrears: This is the balance of your previous bill less any payments or other adjustments made up to the time of issuse of this bill. Current Bill: Sum of lines 1,2,3 and 4 Other: This relates to any special charges Fuel: This is the total fuel adjustment charge (kWh used (L) x Fuel Adjustment Clause Vat Registration Number, Required by VAT Act. Service Number:  Each service has a unique service number Customer Number: Each customer has a unique customer number and this should appear on all accounts for a customer Billing Cycle: This identifies the billing cycle Route: Used for grouping accounts together for reading purposes Sequence Number: Used for sequencing meter readings within a route Meter Number: This identifies the meter registering your energy usage and is located on the face of the meter Previous Meter Reading and Date: This is meter reading and date to which you where last billed Present Meter Reading and Date: This refers to the meter reading and date up to which your most recent bill is calculated Days of Service: This is the number of days in the billing period Meter Multiplier: Some meters require a multiplier to determine the amount of electricity used. kWh Used: This is the amount of energy used over the billing period Average Usage: This is the average electricity used per day over the billing period Demand: This applies to Secondary Voltage Power and Large Power customers and is the maximum demand over the last 12 months. Rate: Domestic Service, General Service, Secondary Voltage Power, Large Power, Secondary Voltage Power (special), Large Power (special) Fuel Adjustment: This is the fuel clause adjustment per kWh. This goes up and down as the cost of fuel used to produce electricity increases or decreases. Mailing name and address Tax Invoice Number: This is the invoice reference and is required by the VAT Act Fixed/Demand This is a sequential number on bills. It is used for internal purposes only Issue Date: This is the date of issue of the bill and is the same as the postage date Service Number: Each service has a unique service number Customer Number: Each customer has a unique customer number and this should appear on all accounts for a customer Fixed/Demand  Energy

Rate 1 = $3.00 per month
Rate 2 = $5.00 per month
Rate 4,9 = $4.00/kVA
Rate 5,8 = $3.00/kVA

2. Energy

Rate 1 = First 100 kWh at 17.6 cents per kWh
= Next 900 kWh at 19.6 cents per kWh
= Over 1000 kWh at 21.6 cents per kWh
Rate 2 = All kWh at 22.6 cents per kWh
Rates 4,8 = All kWh at 20.6 cents per kWh
Rates 5,9 = All kWh at 19.6 cents per kWh
